Bos Provincia Pinot Gris 2013 - Adelaide Hills
|$28.00 / Each|
|$25.20 / Each in any 6|
Sourced from a Single Vineyard in the Piccadilly Valley situated in the Adelaide Hills, this exemplifies all that is Pinot Gris. This wine has aromas of fresh apples, white nectarine and lemon blossom with an underlying tone of sweet spice. With great palate structure of stone fruits and sweet spice extending through to a soft crisp finish.

Has it all, really. Spice, nuttiness, honey, pear. Good scents that anchor you straight into the variety, but not overwhelming as some gris can. Light to medium weight, gentle curves of oily texture, finishes with a good-bitter twist. More of the pear lingers in flavour, it coats the palate a bit. Balance, freshness, good form.
In summary vintage 2013 while dry, was a perfect growing season for the Adelaide Hills with the conditions being conducive to low disease pressure, excellent early vine growth and fruit development. While the daytime temperatures were warmer than average the nights remained cool resulting in excellent ripening conditions for the aromatic whites.
