Misty Lane takes it’s name from a small Oak Tree Lane near Verdun in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. In the beautiful autumn months leading into vintage, the cool evenings give way to a misty morning.
This cool climate Chardonnay sourced from a single vineyard in Robe shows lifted notes of fresh tropical fruit, Pink Lady and a vibrant lemon zest. On the palate a rounded creamy mouthfeel from selected yeast and slight lees contact create the texture that marries the bright fruit flavours and refreshing acidity of what really is a lovely drink.
